The Kenyan entertainment industry has lost yet another important public figure. Even as Kenya mourns the death of it’s icon, Achieng Abura, we wake up to more bad news.

Former capital FM radio presenter Grace Makosewe is dead. She was known for her famous trademark hairstyle the mohawk which was interchanged with the fringe.

Already celebrities have started sending in their condolences and messages of comfort to friends and family of the media personality. Grace Makosewe was also an event organiser for high end clients and exclusive functions that were geared towards being experiential and unique. Besides working for Capital FM, she also hosted the breakfast show in the new radio station, Urban Radio.

Deejay Collo wrote on his Facebook, “She gave me one of my first gigs as a fashion show DJ in london, very sad to hear you are no longer with us.. RIP Grace Makosewe/”
