The independent and boundaries commission IEBC looks set to announce the results of the 26th repeat presidential election.

Security has already been beefed up at the Bomas of Kenya, the national tallying centre with the electoral system saying that it has has received all forms 34B from all the 266 constituencies that voted.

However,IEBC has is currently expected to give the way forward on the 25 communities that did not vote including the Siaya ,Migori, Kisumu and Homabay counties which did not vote because of security concerns.

This was as a result of NASA leader Raila odinga who urged his supporters  not  to participate in what he called the ”pre-rigged electoral process” and therefore they choosed to boycott the elections
and called for new presidential polls within 90 days but the Jubilee supporters came out and vote.

It is noted that those politicians also allied to Jubilee party have been spotted at the national tallying centre ready for the announcement of president uhuru Kenyatta who have lead in number of
votes.

However it’s a great challenge for IEBC chairman Chebukati because according to the constitution for one to be declared president voting must occur in all constituencies since voting never happened in all
constituencies therefore announcing results will lead to the nullification of results but sources within the commission says that Chebukati is ready to issue the certificate and then deal with the law
later.

The commission has obtained results from the constituencies that voted and is waiting for confirmation from Jubilee and IEBC lawyers over the implication of issuing a certificate to president Kenyatta and the
results are expected to be announced anytime.
