- Selena Gomez has made her Instagram account private.
The 25-year-old singer is no doubt an Instagram queen and was the first person to reach 100 million followers on the platform.
After setting the bar high, she went on to acquire 130 million followers and became the most followed celebrity on Instagram.
However, as of last night, she stopped welcoming new followers and has changed her settings on the social media site to private.
Don’t worry, if you’re one of the 130 million followers, you can still see her Instagram.
This move came shortly after she allegedly shared a cropped image of a recent story about herself on Billboard, which was caught by several fans.
She paired the photo with text that read: ‘Never will I let another human being guess my words ever again. Or invite them in my home.
‘That is so hurtful. The most “ridiculous” part of that is no one knowing my heart when I say things.’
The extract from Billboard that Gomez had chosen to share was about a teddy bear in her house.
It said: ‘There’s a five-foot teddy bear sprawled across the kitchen floor in Selena Gomez’s North Hollywood home.
”I know, I know,” says Gomez, rolling her eyes, acknowledging that the stuffed animal doesn’t quite blend with the trio of armchairs nestled in the inviting, marble-accented nook.
The writer says Gomez said: ‘It was a gift, and at first I thought, “This is so ridiculous, I can’t wait until I give it away to another person.” But Gomez, 25, hasn’t let go of it — yet.’
